Success!

On the way to the beach we noticed that the shops were all open after all. So, I went and talked with Manuel and Javier at the Nosara Paradise rental (where we're staying) office. Manuel said, yeah, sure, they can take me to see Anna, an organic gardener who grows beans, corn, rice and coffee. Javier seems to think it will cost. "Everything here costs", he says. Either way....

I told the kids to go ahead to the beach, I'd stop at the bank. On the way, I stopped to see what Robin's ice cream had in the way of non dairy and non wheat foods. Robin (we thought this was a chain from N. america) talked about the local fruits she has in her sorbet. The kids had come back for some sun screen and asked for a sorbet.

We made a connection right away. She has a friend, Sheri, who gardens organically and phoned her right then for me. Sheri heard me out and invited us to come and meet with her on Sunday. We'll look at her gardens, and take a hike to the waterfall near her place. I love connecting like that.

On the way home from the beach (had a nice shady spot under the ex-pat's tent that we met the other day while they went for a walk) we stopped in a little office where there's a sign that says "Del Mar Academy School information here". Turns out it's Bram, Jessica's husband's real estate office. :D Bram called Jessica, who invited us to tour the school and check out the garden site.

Wahoo! Now this is what I've been waiting for. tick tick tick, all the boxes.
